Nice camping experience. Nice sites with and w/o utilities. Great selection of hiking trails.
If you can scout a site before reserving, do it. Pictures from the online reservations don't really show how big/small spots are. Plenty of trails to hike. Not all sites have electric/water. Has a frisby golf course. Some other free events sometimes available. Everything else is available to the public at extra cost. (Pool, boat rentals, etc.) Close to Hopewell Furnace for history lovers.
The campground is well maintained with nice bathroom and shower facilities. Some of the tent sites are a little rocky making the usable space a little smaller. There are miles hiking trails nearby with some leading to the lake. Hiking to the lake is a great 5-6 mile loop depending which trail you choose.
We were in loop B. All sites have electric hook ups. Some nice sites, some really rocky sites also. Bathroom and shower were very clean. Tons of stuff to do. The lake is great for canoeing & kayaking. The inground pool charges a fee for use. The pool looks to be the size of a football field. A lot of areas to bike and tons of trails.
Eh, didn't excite me. No place to swim near immediate campground. Playground was nice. Site was taken care of and there were decent trails
